1. DAY. BUS TERMINAL – HOT DAY.
Two sisters, DARYLL (21) and JULIA (18), both college students, are waiting for the bus to arrive, bags stacked around them.
DARYLL
Ang tagal ng jeep! Tapos ang init pa! Tatlong beses na tayo sige transfer bus from Davao to Gensan, Gensan to Koronadal, plus Koronadal to Tacurong. Pagkatapos, ganito pa ngayon.
JULIA
Ate, anong oras ba dadating ‘yung papuntang Isulan?
DARYLL
Finally, after one million years, ayan na.
Bus enters.
2. INSIDE THE BUS.

3. BUS TERMINAL.

DARYLL
Hay thank god … Mahal pa naman ‘to
JULIA
Ate wait..
DARYLL
Ok na ko—Where’s your bag?!
JULIA
HALA! NAIWAN SA BUS! Kasalanan mo ‘to kasi sinundan kita!
DARYLL
And you didn’t check?!
JULIA
I was too busy running after you!
DARYLL
Dali lang, mag-pakyaw nalang tayo, we’ll catch up with the bus sa XX terminal
The two of them wait inside the tricycle, visibly irritated with the situation and the unbearable heat. A few seconds later, the same bus crashes into something.
JULIA
What happened

DARYLL
Lapit tayo..
They went closer to the crash site. They heard whispers saying it was a motorcycle accident.

DARYLL
Was it my fault?
Few seconds later they find out that nobody was harmed and the bus only hit a parked motorcycle.
DARYLL
Ali, baka makasakay pa tayo sa bus.
JULIA
I’ll find my bag first.
DARYLL
(looks around) Puno naman.
JULIA
(with bag) You shouldn’t have bothered since the bus's departure is delayed now, anyway
The two sisters got off the bus with all of their luggage, avoiding the looks from bystanders. A tricycle driver approaches them.
TRICY DRIVER
Kamo tung nabanggaan, ga?
JULIA AND DARYLL
(looks at each other) No po / No
The two walk away, trying not to laugh.
DARYLL
Well, at least we got our suitcase back
Julia looks at her with a wry expression.
DARYLL
Don’t give me that look. Be thankful! This was God’s way of helping us out.

JULIA
Don’t kid yourself. God wouldn’t help you, you’re not important enough.
DARYLL
Let’s not go back to this terminal for the next few months.
They hailed another tricycle, and went.
